Getting Started
- You must be on the out-of-work list and log-in to bid job calls from this site. Use the Login button on the upper right of this page.
- This is not a call-in bid system! No phone bids will be taken or applied.
- There is an email feature to recover your password 24 hours a day. We can also assist you with your login information during office hours.
Registering & Taking Jobs
- Job calls for the next business day are posted at 4:00 PM, IBEW 993 Website, and the Union Worx Mobile App.
- Applicants who are registered on the out-of-work list may log in and bid for jobs that they qualify for. If multiple jobs are bid, the applicant must select a priority order. Make sure you CONFIRM each bid.
- Applicants may view and/or amend their bid at any time up to the 7:59 AM job call cutoff.
- The job call system will run at 10:00 AM on the day of the call.
- All applicants who placed a bid can be notified of their status via email, text message and/or push notifications. Keep in mind, the OFFICIAL notification of your job call status is found in the ACCOUNT section of the Job Call System.
- A REGISTRATION IS A BINDING COMMITMENT TO TAKE THE CALL. DO NOT REGISTER FOR THE JOB IF YOU CANNOT COMPLETE THE REFERRAL AND TAKE THE CALL.
- IF YOU ARE AWARDED A CALL AND YOU DROP OFF (DO NOT SHOW) YOU WILL BE PROGRESSIVELY DISCIPLINED
Returning to the Out-of-Work List
- When a member commences with an employer in the electrical industry, the member will be removed from the out-of-work list.
- When the member is laid off, it is the Members Responsibility to notify the hall to put their name back on the list.
- The number of days employed from the commencement of employment until the member registers back with the hall will be added to the members days worked number on the Out-of-Work list
Example
If a member has 10 days on the Out-of-Work list and goes to work, then registers back with the office 20 days later, the member will be charged 20 days and will return to the list at 30 days worked and will be placed accordingly on the list
Members may register with the dispatch office in the following ways:
- Through the UnionWorx App
- Through the online registration for on the website
- By Phone
- In Person
Status Changes will not be accepted by phone message or email.
